ABOUT DENISE LONG
Denise Long, O.T. &
Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Denise Long, BS, MS, OTR/L, is a highly experienced pediatric occupational therapist specializing in early childhood development and home-based occupational therapy for infants and young children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Health Science and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Touro College in 2000. With over 25 years of expertise, Denise has provided pediatric OT services in a wide range of settings, including private homes, hospitals, schools, and daycare centers.
Currently, she offers in-home pediatric occupational therapy for children through both her private practice and New York City’s Early Intervention Program (EIP). Her specialized training in Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) and Sensory Integration (SI) allows her to support children with sensory processing disorders, motor delays, fine motor skill difficulties, developmental disabilities, and self-care challenges.
Denise takes a family-centered, evidence-based approach to help children develop essential skills for daily living, improve their gross and fine motor skills, enhance sensory processing abilities, and build independence. Whether addressing developmental delays, sensory challenges, or coordination difficulties, she provides personalized occupational therapy interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.
